Project overview
I was approached to create a logo for a business consultant. She needed a quick turnaround as clients had already began rolling in and she needed a visual identity and logo for her social media, business cards, and website. Her desire was to incorporate a cairn motif and a color palette that read professional and corporate.

The Cairn
Ideation
With the inspiration images sent to me from the client, my first step of the process was to sketch out variations for the cairn motif and explore different font combinations that would deliver a professional and corporate identity.
Carin Design and Fonts
After presenting to the client, she decided on a cairn design and we narrowed down the font choices.
It’s important to me that the client can easily access the fonts for their own purposes, so I prioritize fonts that are more readily available, such as Google Fonts.
Color Scheme
With the motif and fonts decided, I then presented the client with different color schemes.
Variations
I presented a few variations in her selected color scheme and texture choice.
Final Styleguide
After the client made their final decision on the logo, I provided them with a brand package including their logo in multiple file formats and layouts, favicon, and style guide for their new business!
