HEART
Teaching adolescents about how to ethically adopt dogs through a point and click game.
Project overview
3C Institute was approached by HEART (Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers) to develop an e-learning game to teach K-5 students social responsibility. The game would be detective themed and focus on the ethical treatment and adoption of dogs, teaching basic dog body language, and avoiding feeding into harmful puppy mill practices.
My role
My objectives for this project included:
- Designing and building out character rigs for all the characters (and dogs) that appear in the game
- Developing game UI and other in-game items
- Illustrating background art and incorporating interactive elements that the user can click on to learn more
- Providing scene and interactive element layouts and character placements to the game developer
