Logo development for a mental health counselor in Chapel Hill, NC
Project overview
I was approached to create a logo for a mental health counselor in Chapel Hill, NC. They work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stage of life changes, body image distress, and disordered eating.
It was important to them that their visual identity didn’t come across as too stuffy or corporate for the younger demographic they serve, while also being appealing to their audience of adults and families.

My first step of the process was to sketch out some ideas for a symbol, explore some different font combinations, and generate some color palettes.
Narrowing down
After presenting to the client, we decided on a color palette and narrowed down the symbols and fonts.
Variations
The client narrowed down to a few font selections. I also generated color and layout variations for the logo choices.
Finalization
After the client made their final decision on the logo, I provided them with a brand package including their logo in multiple file formats and layouts, favicon, and style guide for their new business!
